Tree work can be a dangerous profession. Hiring a company that is properly insured is paramount, in addition to having trained personnel and safe, properly-working equipment.

The standard in the tree industry for proof of insurance is an insurance certificate. This certificate is provided by the contractor's insurance agency to the customer with your name on it. It shows you that all policies are paid up to date and in full force. Insurance cards, policies, or outdated insurance certificates shown at the time of the estimate or job may not be valid. In addition, make sure the company you hire is insured for tree work. Some policies for other professions don't cover tree work.

An insurance certificate is proof of insurance. You don't need to have an insurance certificate issued to you to be covered by our insurance - it follows us where we go. If you're concerned about our company's insurance coverage or someone else's, get an insurance certificate before the work begins. Insurance certificates will be provided to customers upon request.
